Purpose and Effect: The subject application is requesting relief from Section 6.4.1 of the Perth East Zoning By-law to reduce the minimum required setback for Minimum Distance Separation II (MDS II) for a livestock barn from 248 m (813 ft) to 221 m (725 ft). The noted relief will facilitate the construction of a dairy barn.
The subject application is also requesting relief from Section 6.5.3 to reduce the Minimum Distance Separation II (MDS II) requirement for a liquid manure storage tank from 324 m (1062 ft) to 217 m (711 ft), from 324 m (1062 ft) to 277 m (908 ft) and from 324 m (1062 ft) to 272 m (892 ft). The noted relief will facilitate the construction of a liquid manure storage tank.
Notice of Decision:
If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Committee of Adjustment in respect of this application, you must submit a written request to the Committee of Adjustment. This will also entitle you to be advised of a possible Ontario Land Tribunal hearing in the event the decision on this application is appealed.
