Canine Control

Canine control is enforced by the Canine Control Officer and the By-law Enforcement Officer.

Canine Control inquiries should be directed to the Municipal Office by phone at 519-595-2800 ext. 231.

Dogs found to be running at large may be impounded by Canine Control. It is the responsibility of the dog`s owner to properly register the dog with the Township via the purchase of a dog tag.

Perth East residents are limited to two (2) dogs per property. Should you wish to own or operate a kennel housing more than two dogs, please visit the Kennels page for more information.
